Biosensor Sciences and Technologies Research Center (BSTRC)
Biosensor sciences and technologies research center (BSTRC) was established in 2020 by Dr. Mohammad Johari as part of Ardabil University of Medical Sciences (ARUMS), Ardabil Iran. BSTRC aims to design/develop implantable, wearable and point-of-care (POC) biosensors for early detections and monitoring of diseases states such as diabetes, cancers, cardiac diseases, etc. The focus of our projects in BSTRC is mainly on the development of novel sensing platforms and materials used for state-of-the-art biosensors.
Our mission in BSTRC is to continuously improve the quality of life, health and the environment by moving at the cutting-edge of biosensor sciences and technologies and providing the platform for translation of biosensor sciences into specific products helping improve the lives of patients. Our vision is to be recognized as an international center of research in the field of biosensor, achieving global impact through development of clinically and economically valuable biosensing platforms.
